Pls read : http:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/index.php\/2017\/03\/18\/script-to-backup-each-mysql-database-in-separate-files\/<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download MySQL Apt Repository from <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.mysql.com\/downloads\/repo\/apt\/\">https:\/\/dev.mysql.com\/downloads\/repo\/apt\/<\/a>. Currently the file name is &#8216;mysql-apt-config_0.8.3-1_all.deb&#8217;.<br \/>\n<span class=\"rcp-restricted-content-message\">SORRY, ONLY ADMIN CAN SHOW THIS!<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Install it:\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">sudo dpkg -i mysql-apt-config_0.8.3-1_all.deb<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Then I&#8217;d got this screen<a href=\"http:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2142\" src=\"http:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"719\" height=\"491\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-1.png 719w, https:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-1-300x205.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>Select &#8216;MySQL Server (Currently selected: mysql-5.7)&#8217; then &#8216;ok&#8217;.<br \/>\nThen I&#8217;d got the second screen.<a href=\"http:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2143\" src=\"http:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"716\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-2.png 716w, https:\/\/myprojects.advchaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/mysql-apt-2-300x201.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>Select &#8216;mysql-5.7&#8217; then &#8216;ok&#8217;. Then if you get to the first screen again, just select &#8216;Ok&#8217; and &#8216;ok&#8217;. The screen would be closed.<\/li>\n<li>Update my ubuntu system\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">sudo apt-get update<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>install the MySQL-server package, which now contains MySQL 5.7\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">sudo apt-get install mysql-server<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Now upgrade all mysql databases\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">sudo mysql_upgrade -u root -p<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Now restart mysql server\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">teddy@teddy-K43SJ:\/media\/data\/MASTER\/MySQL$ sudo service mysql restart\r\n * Stopping MySQL Community Server 5.7.17\r\n...\r\n * MySQL Community Server 5.7.17 is stopped\r\n * Re-starting MySQL Community Server 5.7.17\r\nNo directory, logging in with HOME=\/\r\n..\r\n * MySQL Community Server 5.7.17 is started<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Check mysql server version\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">teddy@teddy-K43SJ:\/media\/data\/MASTER\/MySQL$ mysql --versionmysql  Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.17, for Linux (x86_64) using  EditLine wrapper<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Everything run well. At the phpmyadmin, I found the max upload size is 2M.
